Kickoff for the Erasmus+ Project SoWell4Youth:
A Promising Start in Varberg, Sweden
Unite People FC had the privilege of hosting the inaugural meeting for the Erasmus+ funded project, SoWell4Youth. Representatives from Austria, Belgium, France, and Spain joined us in Varberg, Sweden, to lay the groundwork for this ambitious two-year initiative aimed at enhancing youth well-being through sports.
The project brings together organizations dedicated to using sports as a vehicle for positive social change, focusing on inclusion, mental health, and community building. During the kickoff meeting, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on how to effectively implement sports programs that foster youth empowerment and social cohesion across diverse European communities.
While the agenda was packed with strategic planning sessions, the gathering also provided an opportunity to showcase the unique charm of Varberg. Our guests experienced the city’s vibrant culture, scenic coastline, and the welcoming atmosphere that defines our community. This blend of work and cultural exchange set the tone for a collaborative and impactful project journey ahead.
As we move forward, the insights and strategies shared during the kickoff will serve as a strong foundation for the next phases of the project. Our next destination is Austria, where we will continue to build on the momentum and further refine our approach to creating inclusive and supportive sports environments for young people.
